AppsCo supports provisioning and helps you with seamless and secure transition from on-premise to the cloud environment under universal directory and central dashboard.
Provisioning is an essential for on-boarding and off-boarding your employees, organizing and protecting your company data-flow. Integrations enable the exchange of provisioning information and help you automate the management of users, access and data across different systems.
AppsCo provides a set of systems that integration can be achieved with. Depending on your company's needs you can set up integration from external system to AppsCo, or from AppsCo to other system.
To set up an integration, go to the Provisioning page.
Click Add button to add an integration.
Step 1
Select one of the available integration systems. AppsCo will be integrated with the system you choose once you set it up.
Add Integration dialog will show up, where you can enter the main settings for your integration.
Add a title for your integration. If you will use different integrations, you can enter a specific title as on the example image bellow.
Choose the integration type from the drop-down. The type you choose determines the way in which AppsCo integrates with the system you are setting up. You can choose:
From integration system to AppCo (this means that changes made in the integration system will trigger the changes in AppsCo)
From AppsCo to integration system (this means that changes made in AppsCo will trigger the changes in the integration system)
Step 2
You can set up a sync interval. The rules you set up for the integration will run in the interval you set up here. You can choose to run sync every day, every Monday or every 1st of the month from the drop-down. Remember that only the rules that are not run manually, will be run automatically according to the scheduled interval.
You can set the integration as active or wait and start it later, once all the integration rules are set up. Click Add to add the integration.
Step 3
You will be sent to Google in order to authorize the integration. Choose your company's account with your company's domain. The Gsuite domain you choose will be used for the integration between Gsuite and AppsCo.
Read the information about how the integration will use data stored on Gsuite in order to provision users and groups in to AppsCo. (of if the integration is set as from AppsCo to external system, from AppsCo to Gsuite.) Click Allow to confirm.
Once the integration is authorized, you will be sent back to AppsCo. Click Provisioning to continue.
Step 4
Your integration has been added to the list of integrations. Click Edit to set up your integration rules and other settings.
On Manage Integration page to the left, you will find the information about the integration and who and when authorized it.
You can reauthorize the application by clicking on the Reauthorize button. In case the admin who authorized the integration will no longer have the same permissions and account on Gsuite.
By clicking on Remove button, you will remove the entire integration and exchange of information between the systems.
Click Manage on Settings card if you wish to change the global integration settings which affect the entire integration.
You can change the integration title or sync interval. On Manage Integration page under Settings you can also activate and deactivate the integration.
We recommend that you activate the integration when integration rules are set and webhooks registered.
Remember that the integration type can not be changed once it's set up. You can however add a new integration for the same system but with a different integration type.
Remember to save when you are done.
When you are done with global settings you can proceed with setting up integration rules.
